Vignette.

To use the vignette tool you first have to select a new layer and then the marquee tool and pick whether you would like the tool to create a rectangular or circular effect.

Click select, then inverse, then select again and modify:feather.
pick the amount of pixels you would like to be feathered then command and backspace to then put the effect in place.
This is the original image that I have used.

This is the final product, I chose for the fade to be black rather than white because the colours in this image are dark.

Clone stamp tool

The clone stamp tool can be used to clone a specific area of the image and then move it to another place in the image.
This is the original image that I have used to display to you how the clone stamp works.

As you can see I have used to clone tool to add more ducks into the image and to move the swans and the tide further away.

Dodge and burn tool

The dodge and burn tool can be used to make certain areas of your image lighter or darker.

For this image I have used the dodge and burn tool to make the image lighter and then darker some of the shadows on the image.

Spot healing

for this image I have used the spot healing tool to get rid of some of the smaller birds from the background of the image and from the pier.

Rukes

RUKES

Location: Everywhere and nowhere (according to his Twitter)
Rukes calls himself "the #1 DJ (Photographer)," and we'd have to agree, except without the parentheses, and "DJ" would be optional. It would be impossible to have a conversation about music photography without bringing up RUKES. People started to notice him from photos he took as official concert photographer for Deadmau5 (hence the "Everywhere and nowhere" — he's always on the road), but since then he's photographed Avicii, Skrillex, Kaskade, Swedish House Mafia, Afrojack, and more at historic concerts, raves, and festivals. If there's anyone who's expertly documenting the takeover of electronic dance music worldwide, it's RUKES.

Zoe Mcconnell research

Zoe Mcconnell

I have chosen to use Zoe Mcconnell representative of ERA photographers for my artist because she photographs for both fashion and music and has included some of my favourite artists in her work, I love her work and how well she has managed to capture all of the images to such a high quality.
I love the style of photos that Zoe takes.

Zoe McConnell is a former page 3 model and current photographer from London, England.
McConnell branched out into photography, having learned a great deal from her time in front of the lens. Her work specialises in character studies and well-lit portraits conveying a sense of intimacy. Her photography has also appeared in magazines including Maxim, Front, and FHM.

McConnell had a cameo appearance in the movie Deuce Bigalow: European Gigolo. She appeared on a charity episode of The Weakest Link featuring other models, losing out to Jakki Degg.[3] She is known for inspiring the song "Zoe 25" from the album 13th Star by Fish former frontman of Marillion.
