Dodge and burn tool

The dodge and burn tool can be used to make certain areas of your image lighter or darker.







For this image I have used the dodge and burn tool to make the image lighter and then darker some of the shadows on the image.

Spot healing

 To use the spot healing tool you click on the tool that looks like a plaster, you then alter the brush size to one that fits the area you with to cover, if the area is complicated it can mess up the background of your selected area so you have to be careful when using this tool.

for this image I have used the spot healing tool to get rid of some of the smaller birds from the background of the image and from the pier.
